It certainly opens up the air box. I like not drilling holes in the original cover. Only thing I wish it had is support for the to screws in the scoops. The scoops seem secure enough with the 2 screws vs 3 though.
I modified my air box and used the modified air filter bracket available on this web site. Plus I changed my stock pipes to Voodoo mass flow pipes and had my ECU flashed. What a difference!!!! I love this upgrade. Way more power and it sounds like an old muscle car. Mike and Chris were super helpful through the process too.
